Anyone buying a poker table in the Netherlands should look at five things: the number of players, the size in your room, the equipment, the service and the budget. Here is the short version.
1. For how many players?
For a regular poker night, count on 8 to 10 players. A table for 10 players plus a dealer measures about 260 x 120 cm. A 240 x 120 cm table seats 9 players plus a dealer, and a 320 x 160 cm table seats 12. Also read: poker table for 8 or 10 players.
2. Does the table fit in your room?
Allow the table size plus about 80 cm of free space all around for chairs. A 260 x 120 cm table then needs a room of about 4.2 x 2.8 metres. If you don't have a permanent spot, choose a foldable poker table.
3. What is included as standard?
Check cup holders, chip tray, rake box, lighting and USB ports. The Luxe Professional Poker Table comes with 10 stainless steel cup holders, a chip tray, a rake box, adjustable LED lighting and 10 USB ports (5 x USB-C) as standard.
4. How is the service arranged?
Look at warranty, cooling-off period and delivery. Pokertafelshop.nl gives a 2-year warranty and a 30-day cooling-off period and delivers free in the Netherlands and Belgium. Free pickup is always possible. You can view and try the tables in the showrooms in Amsterdam and Olst.
5. What is your budget?
Entry-level tables start at around €200. Full-featured tables with LED and a rake box cost between €1,200 and €3,850. See what a good poker table costs.
